She’ll Be the Judge!

The Young and the Restless actress, Kate Linder (Esther Valentine), is set to appear at the California Strawberry Festival on May 15 to help judge the Berry Blast Off recipe contest! Kate and Dedria Brunett, Miss Teen California International 2010, will judge the event, which takes place at Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard, California. Various Southland charities will benefit.

The contestants will be allowed sixty minutes to prepare and present their berry dishes as they compete to win the grand prize: four nights on a Carnival Cruise getaway courtesy of Shell Vacations Club!

Kate, perhaps already imagining the delicious task ahead, said, “I wonder if there is such a thing as a sweet and sour Strawberry preparation. If it exists I would love to sample it.”
