Soaps.com has learned that Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) from The Young and the Restless will be hosting her very first Annual Celebrity Charity Gala in Hollywood on February 11, 2010. The event will run from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM a the Montage in Beverly Hills.
The event will raise funds to help find a cure for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), for which Kate is a celebrity spokesperson. Tickets cost $100 or $150 for VIP tickets, and can be obtained by calling 1-570-677-4975 or through Emerging Magazine.
In November, Kate was honored by the ALS Association’s St. Louis Regional Chapter at their 25th Anniversary Gala, for her work on the event to raise funds to find a cure for the disease. Over $90,000 was raised at the event, which Kate and her husband, Ron, attended.
