Baby number one on the way for former Young and the Restless actor.
We are very excited to report that former Young and the Restless actor John Driscoll, who played Phillip ‘Chance’ Chancellor IV from 2009 to 2011, is expecting his first child – a boy. The soap opera alum took to social media with a very patriotic baby reveal. The photo consisted of three single red, white and blue sneakers – one for him, one for his wife and the other for his unborn son. Along with two American flags, a framed announcement read – in blue lettering, “Baby Driscoll, making his arrival, August 2020.”
Back in March, we reported that John Driscoll had married Michele Sager on Saturday March 21. We also shared photos of the bride and groom, with the former soap opera actor in his US Army National Guard uniform.
Driscoll’s acting career began in 2000 playing Brandon on Young Americans. He appeared in six episodes of the popular series Dawson’s Creek as Blossom from 2001 to 2002 before doing stints on One Tree Hill and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, his first daytime role was back in 2003 playing Coop Bradshaw/Ned Holden/Ed Prentiss on CBS’ Guiding Light until 2009 before heading over to sister soap opera Young and the Restless as Chance Chancellor – a role he played from 2009 to 2011. A few fun facts… It was once documented that Driscoll’s favorite movie was the 1989 British historical drama Henry V and that he enjoyed watching 2004’s television series Iron Chef America: Battle of the Masters.
We send Driscoll and wife our very best! Take a look at the gallery below for other soap opera stars’ baby news.
