Young and Restless actor was once a in a boy band.

As CBS airs a classic episode of Young and Restless that highlights some of Nick and Sharon Case relationship troubles, Soaps.com decided to share some facts about  Joshua Morrow, who celebrated playing Nick Newman for 25 years in 2019.

1.

Joshua Morrow is from Juneau, Alaska. He was born Joshua Jacob Morrow on February 8, 1974.

Morrow is 6 feet tall.

Joshua Morrow’s father Kem was in the Coast Guard. Morrow moved to Oklahoma with his father and sister, Jamie, after his parents’ divorce in 1977.

During his senior year in high school, Morrow moved to Southern California to live with his mother. He played on his junior and senior high school football, basketball, baseball, soccer, track and tennis teams.

Joshua Morrow majored in communications with a minor in theater at Moorpark College in California.

Morrow was cast on Young and the Restless in 1994. He had previously acted in local theater productions in California.

In 1998, Joshua Morrow formed the soul-pop group 3Deep with Eddie Cibrian, (Matt Clark, Young and the Restless), and CJ Huyer. The group disbanded in 2001.

Morrow has played on the World Poker Tour in the Hollywood Home Games for The V Foundation for Cancer Research.

On August 4, 2001, Joshua Morrow married Tobe Keeney. They first started dating in 1996.

Together, Morrow and Keeney have four children: three boys, Cooper Jacob, Crew James, Cash Joshua, and daughter Charlie Jo.

Joshua Morrow is from a family well known in the entertainment field, including casting director Clare Walker, actor Michael Paré (The Philadelphia Experiment), and actor Justin Walker (Clueless).
