Vivica A. Fox, Jason-Shane Scott, Rib Hillis and David Lago in LMN thriller

Young and Restless alum takes over LMN for Deadly Resolutions programming event.

Vivica A. Fox (Stephanie Simmons, The Young and the Restless; Maya Reubens, Generations) will be starting the New Year by appearing on the Lifetime Movie Network throughout January. Soaps.com has learned Fox will host LMN’s annual Deadly Resolutions programming event which features 11 new movies airing every Thursday and Friday. Things kick off on January 1, 2020 at 8:00 PM ET/PT with Escaping My Stalker, starring Linden Ashby (Cameron Kirsten, The Young and the Restless; Paul Hollingsworth, Days of our Lives). On January 24, Fox will star in her own LMN movie The Wrong House Sitter. In the movie, Fox plays Deb, a successful editor and boss to Dan (Jason-Shane Scott, The Wrong Boy Next Door; Will Rappaport, One Life to Live). When she sends Dan out of town on assignment, he enlists a woman named Kristin to house-sit the dream home he just moved into. Things go off the rails for Dan when Kristin makes herself too comfortable in his home and starts posing as his girlfriend.

Fox is a producer on the movie, along with David DeCoteau (The Wrong Cheerleader), who is also the director. Adam Rockoff (Christmas Matchmakers) wrote the script for the movie executive produced by Jeffrey Schenck (A Christmas Princess) and Barry Barnholtz (Baking Christmas). The Wrong House Sitter also stars David Lago (Raul Guttierez, The Young and the Restless), Rib Hillis (The Bay; Jake Marshak, Port Charles), Anna Marie Dobbins (Christmas Matchmakers), Ciarra Carter (The Wrong Mommy) and Jensen Atwood (A to Z).

As the headliner to LMN’s Wrong Movie franchise, Fox appeared in The Wrong Cheerleader, The Wrong Mommy, The Wrong Boy Next Door and The Wrong Stepmother in 2019. The actress also currently recurs on Empire as Cookie Lyons’ (Taraji P. Henson ) sister Candace, a role she’s played since 2015. In addition, Fox plays Dr. Angela Foster on the online soap opera The Bay.
