Young and Restless actors dish on their latest and upcoming scenes.

Young and the Restless stars Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), Mark Grossman (Adam Newman) and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman) appeared on CBS’ The Talk today, June 24. Soaps.com’s video clips have Stafford discussing her recent return as Phyllis. The actress gave a shout-out to Gina Tognoni, who had played the character for the past five years, and revealed she read every synopsis of every episode Phyllis had been in since she last played the role, so as to be well prepared. She also commented on what it was like to be back on the set and joked, “It’s been great. It’s really nice. I’m so emotional right now, it’s so weird… But it’s been incredible and nobody’s aged. It must be the air, so I guess I’m staying.”

Grossman talked about doing his first love scene on the show, which was between Adam and Sharon (Sharon Case). He reflected on how it was a little ‘weird’ in that there were crew members all around, then joked that he realized no one was watching him, they were all watching Case.

During the appearance, The Talk shared a teaser of Chelsea and Adam reconnecting for the first time, with Adam taking her hand and saying, “Let’s go home.” In the second clip, Egan explains that it looks like the couple is reuniting but it’s going to take turns viewers aren’t necessarily expecting, and noted that Chelsea had remarried and started a whole new life. The actress also joked that Chelsea will be on an ‘apology tour’ with all the people in Genoa City she screwed over. Melissa Claire Egan returns to Young and the Restless as Chelsea this week.
