Y&R Set Visit, B&B Walk-on Role Auctioned for Charity
Go behind the scenes of a CBS soap opera.
Soaps.com is excited to share that Charitybuzz is offering a set visit and walk-on role on The Bold and the Beautiful and a set visit at The Young and the Restless for auction.
The winning bidder in the B&B auction, which concludes January 29, will spend the day on set at CBS Television City, and will be featured in a walk-on role as an extra in a scene, as well as getting an inside look at the daily production involving cast and crew. The walk-on role is for one person and will occur between February 1 and April 5 at the discretion of the production. The visit will last 6 – 8 hours and meals nor meet and greet are included. The participant must be 18 or over. The estimated value of the experience is $2500, and proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The winner of the Y&R auction, which ends February 5, will receive a guided tour for two people behind the scenes at Y&R and an inside ‘peek’ at what it takes to produce the award-winning drama. Imagine seeing the sets for Victor Newman’s ranch or Jabot up close and personal, or the chance to glimpse one of your favorite actors in the studio. It is important to note that transportation, lodging and other expenses are not included, two weeks’ notice must be provided to arrange the set visit and tour, and that the attendance or appearance of specific cast members cannot be guaranteed; this is at the discretion of the production. Auction participants must be 18 and over. The estimated value of the experience is $5000 and proceeds will benefit Chris Evert Charities, which provide prevention and intervention programs to eliminate drug abuse and child neglect.
Please take note of the full rules and regulations in the auction links for both – and good luck!
