On December 11, 2018, we reported that CBS’ Young and the Restless, in its 46th season, is currently celebrating 30 unprecedented consecutive years (1560 weeks) as television’s top serialized drama. The news comes from Nielsen live with same day ratings for the week ending November 30. The soap opera averages 4.42 million viewers, ranking #2 overall in daytime behind The Price is Right, and is the top program among women 25 – 54 and 18 – 49.
