Peter Porte Gets Married in New Orleans
Soap opera alum’s wedding day.
Soaps.com is happy to share the news that The Young and the Restless alum, Peter Porte, who played Ricky Williams, tied the knot over the weekend. Porte wed Jacob Villere in a ceremony held in New Orleans on Sunday October 7 at Latrobe’s on Royal. The celebration included dinner and dancing and the attire was formal shades of navy and cream. Latrobe’s on Royal is an architecturally significant building at which glamorous events are held, located in the French Quarter. The building originated as the Louisiana State Bank and is named after the architect, Benjamin Henry Latrobe, also known as ‘The Father of American Architecture’.

Y&R fans will recall Peter Porte’s character, Ricky, was the son of Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Isabella Brana (Eva Longoria) and was killed in an emotional storyline when Paul was forced to shoot Ricky as he threatened to stab Eden Baldwin (Jessica Heap) with a knife.
Porte appeared in Hallmark’s Love, Once and Always earlier this year, and also had a role in the primetime soap, Devious Maids following his departure from Y&R. The actor is currently filming the musical drama film Christmas Harmony, which co-stars Adam Mayfield (Scott Chandler, All My Children, Ted Carpenter, One Life to Live) and Grey’s Anatomy’s Chandra Wilson (Dr. Miranda Bailey).
Although Porte has not shared photos from his wedding on social media, he did post a happy photo from New Orleans in July, captioned, “Laissez les bon temps rouler. ?”
