Y&R actress’ film experience is a family affair.

Updated January 3 2019: Soaps.com can share that Y&R‘s Eileen Davidson and her husband, Vincent Van Patten, appeared on KTLA News to dish about their movie Walk to Vegas (see clip below), which has since been changed to 7 Days to Vegas. Van Patten further explained about the real-life bet that led to the concept for the film, and Davidson fielded a few questions about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during the interview as well.

On May 19 2017, Soaps.com learned that “The Young and the Restless” actress Eileen Davidson was shooting a movie entitled “Walk to Vegas,” and her co-stars included her husband, Vincent Van Patten (“Baywatch,” Christian, “The Young and the Restless”), and their son, Jesse, who incidentally also plays their son, Jake, in the movie. “Walk to Vegas” was written by Van Patten and Steve Alper, who also wrote “The Guesthouse.” The film surrounds the story of a group of degenerate gamblers and poker players who make a bet to walk to Vegas in seven days, and was based on true events. Van Patten, who appears on television’s “World Poker Series,” has previous writing credits that include “The Flunky,” a documentary entitled “Winning Texas Hold ‘Em,” and two video shorts, “Mastering Bluffs and Tells in Poker” and “Beat the Pros.”

Van Patten will act in the film as Duke, while Davidson plays the role of KC, and the cast is rounded out with such talented actors as Jennifer Tilly (“Liar, Liar”), Willie Garson (“Hawaii Five-0”), Don Stark (“That 70s Show”), Chad Lowe (“Pretty Little Liars”), and soap veteran John O’Hurley (Greg, “Edge of Night,” Douglas, “As the World Turns,” Greg, “General Hospital,” Jim, “The Young and the Restless,” Keith, “Loving,” Stephen, “Santa Barbara,” Pete, “Sunset Beach,” Kit, “All My Children”). The film marks the feature-length directorial debut for Eric Balfour, who is known for his acting roles as Eddie on “The O.C.,” Milo on “24,” and Eric on “Valemont.” An enthusiastic Davidson shared shots from the set of “Walk to Vegas” on her Instagram account.

The actress continues to appear on “Y&R,” on which her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Erika Girardi recently made two cameo appearances. Davidson also has an upcoming movie based on her book Dial Emmy for Murder.
