The Young and the Restless’s Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) went out for charity again this past week. On this occasion, Kate, accompanied by her mother, Molly Wolveck, attended an event to support the Larry King Cardiac Foundation.

The dinner fundraiser was hosted by Simin Hashemizadeh, a well known figure in the Iranian community whose family has suffered heart-related health issues.

Others who attended the event, which raised $40,000 for the charity, were Larry and Shawn King, Cheri Shankar of The Humane Society of the United States, Steve Valentine, Inna Korobkina, Lady Victoria Hervey, and Charlie Wilson of the “Gap Band.”
