Throwback Thursday Y&R Poll: Mobsters In Genoa City
Making a bold statement.
In this week’s “The Young and the Restless” Throwback Thursday Soaps.com takes readers back to 1982 when the mob wreaked havoc for many in Genoa City…
Dylan recently received a threatening message in the form of a brick through the coffeehouse window. Years ago, Paul Williams did as well, which resulted in a kidnapping. Paul’s father Carl, a detective with the Genoa City Police, worked effortlessly against the mob in and around town. Upon mobster Tony DiSalvo’s release, he vowed to seek revenge on Carl for his arrest and interference with his organization. Tony planted evidence that made it appear that Carl was taking bribes from the mob, which led to his suspension from the force.
Paul planned to clear his father’s name, infiltrated the mob and received help from a prostitute named Cindy Lake in order to get a look inside the syndicate’s day to day business. When suspicion pointed to Paul, he had no choice but to go into hiding or risk being killed by the mob. However, the mob found a way to lure Paul out and ended up kidnapping someone close to him.
Do you remember who was kidnapped by the mob? Vote in our “Y&R” poll and feel free to share some of your favorite Paul moments in the comment section below.
