Truck drivin’ man.

Tom Hallick, the actor who played Genoa City’s Brad Eliot from 1973 – 1978, is returning to “The Young and the Restless,” according to TV Guide. In a reversal of the scenario in which his former character hitched a ride with a truck driver to Genoa City in the soap’s premiere episode, Hallick will now play the truck driver. He’ll pick up Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), who is making her way back to town from the clinic in Georgia.

Tom Hallick played Maxwell Hathaway on “Days of our Lives,” and has had roles on numerous primetime television series such as “The Love Boat,” “Dynasty,” “Murder, She Wrote,” “Cold Case,” “Nip/Tuck,” and “Gangster Squad.”

Hallick will appear on Friday September 26.
