Her character, Lauren Fenmore, first appeared in 1983 as the teenage daughter of the rich Neil Fenmore of Fenmore Department Stores. Some of her first storylines included singing in Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damien) band with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) before falling in love with Det. Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). When her father passed away, she took over the family business.
