Y&R’s Hartley Sawyer To Exit
Moving on.
Actor Hartley Sawyer, who took over as Kyle Abbott from Blake Hood back in March of this year, is leaving the role. A spokesperson for “The Young And The Restless” confirmed to Soap Opera Digest, “Hartley is wrapping up but will be airing for several weeks into the new year.” There was no explanation provided for Sawyer’s departure.
Sawyer has been cast in an upcoming superhero comedy web series, “Caper,” which is set to premiere on the Geek & Sundry YouTube channel sometime in early 2014.
Soaps.com will provide updates on Hartley Sawyer’s final airdate in Genoa City, and whether the role will be recast as that information becomes available.
