Michael Graziadei, who played Genoa City's Daniel Romalotti on "The Young and the Restless" has been cast in a new dramatic pilot for Lifetime entitled, "The Lottery." Graziadei stars alongside Lesley-Ann Brandt ("Spartacus") in the conspiracy thriller which is set in a future world where women have ceased having children, thereby putting the human race at risk of extinction. 100 embryos are fertilized and a lottery is held to determine who the surrogates will be. Graziadei plays Kyle, a recovering alcoholic and single parent.
Graziadei will also appear in the upcoming November 19 episode of "Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." as Jakob Nystrom. The episode is being touted as a crossover with the new movie, "Thor 2: The Dark World," which hits theaters on November 8, however none of the film's stars will appear on the ABC television show.
