PALS, the acronym for the Police Activity League Supporters, is celebrating its 35th year serving the community. It is a comprehensive effort by the police officers to deter gangs and prevent crime. An additional goal is to provide scholarships for those young people who want to continue their studies after high school. The new Center will have a gym, boxing ring, park environment, tutoring facilities along with a computer lab, and administrative services for the youth and teens of the Devonshire, California area.
Tickets for guests that wanted a seat at a table to play against poker pros such as Mary Jones, Dorian Harewood, Kristy Gazes, Todd Brunson, Jerry Yang, and Jamie Gold, went for $500! For $250 guests were able to enjoy dinner, entertainment, a silent auction, and an open bar.
Soaps.com thinks the world of Y&R’s Michelle and the other celebs that make time to give back!
