has just learned that Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella, Y&R) has been named as a presenter for the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which will air on Sunday, September 21st on ABC.

Of course, Eva has gone on from Y&R to enjoy much success in nighttime television as Gabrielle on the series “Desperate Housewives”, and also in movies with her recent big screen effort “Over Her Dead Body”, but we at will always fondly recall her days as Y&R troublemaker Isabella. Who can forget her affair with sexy P.I. Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), and her jealousy over Paul’s love, Christine (Lauralee Bell), who she eventually tried to murder! We even look forward one day to perhaps seeing Isabella and Paul’s son, Ricky, returning from California (where he lives with Isabella’s parents) to wreak havoc in Genoa City and connect with his half-sister Heather (Vail Bloom)!

Eva won’t be seen on Desperate Housewives until Fall, but has kept busy with two other projects in the meantime. In “Lower Learning” she co-stars with Jason Biggs of “American Pie” fame, as a character named Rebecca, and in the family comedy “Food Fight” she is part of a stellar cast including such names as Charlie Sheen, Hillary Duff, Haylie Duff, and Christopher Lloyd! will be proudly watching Eva when she presents an award to some lucky winner at the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Eva will be presenting along with her Desperate Housewives co-stars Marcia Cross, Dana Delany, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, and Nicollette Sheridan.
