Father Todd.

Actor Corbin Bernsen (Father Todd Williams) recently took to Facebook to address fans regarding the health of his mother, Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor), and shared that “Y&R” has asked him to reprise his role for a couple of episodes as well. Corbin posted, “Many again are asking about my mom so I want to clear this up. No, she hasn’t been on the show lately but nothing is wrong with her. That said, she is a bit older now and was working 5 days a week, late into the nights, early up in the morning and it took a toll. She is simply “readjusting” to her age and ability to be able to carry on with the crazy hectic schedule of doing a show that shoots daily – all year long. We all have to make “shifts” in our life as we move into new phases of what our minds and bodies are able to do. That’s where she’s at now. So again, nothing terrible, just a little rest and then creating a new path for how she can still give it her best – and you know she’ll do nothing less – and then back to work. In fact she’s working tomorrow/today – depending on when you’re reading this. And FYI “Y&R” fans, they’ve just asked if I’m available for a few days coming up…ahh, the priesthood! Hello Father Todd!”

Could Father Todd be returning because his sister, Patty (Stacy Haiduk), is back in town? Soaps.com will update with specific episode information on Corbin’s appearances when it becomes available.
