The Young And The Restless: Ellen Greene To Play Primrose. (UPDATED!)

Spoiler Ahead! According to TV Guide, Ellen Greene’s character, Primrose, will have a familiar last name – DeVille, as in Rose DeVille. Rose, who was played by the late Darlene Conley, was the woman who took a young Nina’s (Tricia Cast) baby and sold him on the black market. Primrose DeVille will provide Billy Abbott (Billy Miller) with a baby.

According to EW, actress Ellen Greene has been cast to play the role of Primrose on The Young and the Restless. Beginning on January 7, the character will air in a number of episodes, and will represent a link to the past that brings unexpected joy to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Billy Miller).
Ellen has previously appeared on such Primetime series as “Suddenly Susan,” “Cybill,” “Pushing Daisies,” “Privileged,” and “Heroes.” Soaps.com congratulates her on her new role.
