Did Young & Restless Baddie Just Confirm His Exit?

That’s a wrap..?! An ambiguous post leaves fans concerned.
Handsome soap star James Hyde, known for playing Passions’ Sam Bennett, joined Young & Restless as baddie Jeremy Stark back in 2022 and is still airing as the man from Diane Jenkin’s past. Stark insinuated himself into Genoa City society while seeking revenge on his ex for sending him to prison and keeping his money. Fans of the actor — and his nefarious character — were thrilled when the character returned after being framed but have now been left wondering if he might be wrapping up his run thanks to the actor’s latest social media offering.
Hyde began by sharing an upbeat philosophy: “In life, you have to be ready for what’s next!!” No problem with that, right?! It’s just good advice along the lines of ‘always be prepared’. Fair enough.
But then he added, “I’m ready, let’s go!!” So… that kinda sounded like he was gearing up for whatever comes next after his current gig, especially since he tagged CBS TV and Sony in the post. He also tagged Netflix, which was the home of his canceled series, Monarca.
It was the hashtag “Nothing lasts forever” that really sealed the deal on the growing concern, however, which could allude to his run at Young & Restless having come to an end.
Indeed, one follower, team_chadam, fretted, “Ohhh, Hope you’re still at Y&R.”
Jeremy, of course, is embroiled in a scheme with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to put an end to Diane’s (Susan Walters) good luck streak since she returned to town, as she’s achieved pretty much everything she’d hoped for and more after a shocking rise from the dead and apology tour.
Might Stark leave town after having achieved his goal… or will his character somehow land back in the slammer should their plans go awry? Or, perhaps the concern is much ado about nothing and Hyde is just musing. Take a look at the post for yourself below.
