Meet the Young & Restless Newcomer Who May Be Just What Chelsea Needs
Many have asked about the actress playing the role of Chelsea’s therapist on The Young and the Restless and we can report that daytime newcomer Anna Khaja is appearing in scenes with Melissa Claire Egan. The actress first appeared on Tuesday, November 8, when Chelsea attended her first therapy session at the facility.
A little recap… Dr. Malone urged Chelsea to be honest with her feelings — and not hold back — and even admitted that she herself had been on edge when she first started talking to people who had attempted suicide. Even though Dr. Malone had since learned that talking about that horrible moment in people’s lives can really help, Chelsea pushed back…
However, she soon opened up and relayed that she had been feeling absolutely spent — for years — and how she’d always ran away from her feelings as a kid. And after she had the stroke, Chelsea felt as though she couldn’t escape herself, the pain or the darkness that engulfed her, which led her to the rooftop’s edge.

It’s unclear how long Khaja’s time on the CBS soap will be but we look forward to watching this storyline unfold, as so many out there are experiencing or have gone through similar turmoil. Egan’s castmate Eric Braeden (Victor) recently praised her for her “riveting performances,” which brought many fans out to share their own experiences. And if this storyline can help just one person, well, then it’s all worth it.
MELISSA CLAIRE EGAN HAS GIVEN ABSOLUTELY RIVETING PERFORMANCES!! I was very moved! 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
