Trouble’s Headed for Young & Restless — and Adam’s Right In Its Path
Trouble and Genoa City go hand in hand and even though Victor, Nick and Victoria are in it up to their ears, there’s plenty more to go around — and Adam could be the next Newman to step in it!
In a couple of weeks, viewers are going to see a new face in town as The Young and the Restless has cast Aaron Schwartz to play Lucas, who will turn up on Wednesday, August 24, as well as on Thursday, August 25, as first reported by Soap Opera Digest.
Schwartz may look familiar to CBS soap fans… He first arrived on the daytime scene back in 2009 as Dr. Mansfield on Guiding Light and has appeared in numerous primetime roles, most recently as Vanya in last year’s December Gossip Girl episode “Final Cancellation.”
Back to his Young & Restless role… the magazine is reporting that Lucas “comes to Genoa City for a nefarious reason” and will appear in scenes with Adam.
Now, whether his arrival will work to Adam’s benefit, in his quest to stand tall against his family, or if Lucas has the Newman outcast in his sights, is a mystery but one thing is for sure… Adam always gets twisted up in drama, even when he feels as though his actions are justified, so there’s no telling how this newcomer will fit into the mix.
