Young & Restless’ Jason Canela Teases a Possible Return as Arturo Rosales — Perhaps for a Wedding?
Could Jason Canela be set to reprise his role of Arturo Rosales on The Young and the Restless? You’ll recall that he left the role in the spring of 2019 when the powers that be elected not to renew his contract. But we couldn’t help noticing that on Friday, November 20, the actor shared a photo of himself standing outside the CBS studios to his Instagram story, which left us thinking his alter ego could be paying someone in Genoa City a visit soon.
Arturo previously appeared to attend his sister Lola’s wedding to Kyle. Given that their brother Rey is currently planning his wedding to Sharon, that would certainly seem like a reason for Arturo to visit. And with those nuptials planned for New Year’s Eve, the timing would seem to work out from a production stand point.
Sure, it’d be fun if Arturo decided to crash Abby’s upcoming wedding — probably more for us as viewers than the bride — but that seems unlikely. And with Rey being a cop in a city where danger often rears its ugly head, there’s always the possibility that Arturo could return should his brother wind up in a precarious situation.
Finally, there’s the least fun (and least likely) scenario of all — that Canela was at the studio for reasons having nothing to do with a return.
