Mishael Morgan return to Young and Restless

Updated September 19: Mishael Morgan took to her Instagram to send a message to fans explaining she’s been back taping for two months on Young and Restless and keeping it a secret. Soaps.com can also share she confirmed in her Instagram story that she is playing a new character, and on the Friday September 20 episode of Young and Restless, introduces herself to Devon (Bryton James) as Amanda Sinclair, the lawyer who sent the letter about Katherine’s will.

As reported September 18, rumors have been swirling that Mishael Morgan would be making a return to The Young and the Restless, and it has been confirmed as Morgan appeared at the end of the Thursday September 19 Y&R episode. Back in 2018, Morgan left Young and Restless amid controversy last June when her character died after a car wreck and later made a limited return to Y&R beginning in April 2019 when Hilary appeared to Devon several times. It is still not clear whether she is reprising the role of Hilary Curtis Hamilton, or if she is playing a new character. Soaps.com will update readers with details as they become available.

That’s right… I’m back!!! 💃🏾😆. This has been the hardest secret to keep! I am so happy & honoured to return to #YR. The time off was such a welcomed blessing, as I learned to juggle life, family & career, but I am so happy to be home! I want to take a second and thank all you diehard fans out there, who supported me so fiercely. This opportunity only came about because of YOU. I am so excited to be back home, doing what I love, with all of you cheering me on. I look forward to this new adventure and I hope to create something new but just as special as that girl you all loved to hate. Cheers to this new chapter, with old friends. Now let’s do the damn thing! ❤️❤️❤️ @youngandrestlesscbs @cbsdaytime #yr #backtowork #rumourhasit #itstrue
