Alyvia Alyn Lind was born in North Caroline to actress Barbara Alyn Lind and director John Lind. She is the younger sister to Natalie and Emily Lind. She began acting as "The Young and the Restless'" Faith Newman in 2011, a role she still plays today.

Lind is widely known for her portrayal of a young Dolly Parton in "Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors," and also appeared in the feature film, "Blended" with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, as well as her notable stints on several Primetime television series such as "Revenge" and "Masters of Sex."
