Deconstructing B&B: False impressions, fantasies, and friends threaten relationships

“The Bold and the Beautiful” for January 11 - 15:

It was all about cheating on “B&B” this week, whether it was presumed, imagined, or trying to be prevented! Thoughts:

He flips…and he flops.
As mentioned in the previous Deconstructing B&B, the level of ridiculous surrounding Liam’s impromptu trip to Australia, and Wyatt’s desperate attempt to seduce Steffy was just too high to handle. It was a relief, then, when Steffy gave Wyatt a reality check by telling him he shouldn’t be doing that and reminding him she was in love with his brother. But then she did something dumb by curling up with Wyatt in the bed in her bra and panties. Please! Naturally Liam arrived at home, took in the scene, and after collapsing in shock, spent the night at Spencer. His next move was a hissy fit of gargantuan proportions – quitting his job at Forrester, ending his engagement to Steffy and kicking her out – without so much as mentioning what he’d seen. Who does this? There are just too many misunderstandings and miscommunications for it to be believable. And now we can expect round three of Wyatt getting all excited about being second choice/rebound boy again…sigh.

I want to share everything with my sister.
It’s too funny how they keep having Katie repeat that mantra, “I want to share everything with my sister.” No, no you don’t! Hehe. While Katie was over talking to Rick about what a great sister she was, trouble was already brewing over at Spencer as Bill indulged in a hot ‘n’ heavy fantasy that involved Brooke ripping his clothes off and gasping his name a lot. Oy. It’s only a matter of time…

Hiring squad.
Forrester has been pretty entertaining what with Rick playing the big man while Ridge is away. Too bad his first move stressed out the young woman carrying his child. Nicole was not one bit happy to see her ‘pal’ Sasha ‘loosening’ up her man Zende. Nicole marched right up to see Rick and used her considerable leverage to put the kibosh on the Sasha situation. Most didn’t blame her; Sasha has man-stealer written all over her, but others felt bad for Sasha, who, interestingly, was suddenly depicted as a sweeter more sympathetic character right before this went down. Hehe. Anyway, Sasha conveniently overheard Nicole and Rick’s conversation later, and now knows why she got canned. Methinks once Zende learns Nicole was behind it, there will be trouble. “B&B” viewers on Twitter weighed in on Nicole’s bold move:
