Steffy cry B&B

In Deacon’s apartment, he tells Sheila, “You’re here, so I know you can get away from Spencer if you want to.” Sheila states, “I can’t come to your grand opening, Deacon.” He knows she wants to. Deacon realizes she’s scared because she has feelings for him and is afraid of losing everything if she gives into them. He’s not asking for that, just for her to come to the grand opening.

At Bill’s place, Wyatt and Liam are mid-rant about Sheila when Wyatt has to step out to take a call about a deal. Liam complains to his father that they came about the threat he made to Steffy and Finn to put Taylor behind bars. Sheila belongs in jail and he could put her there right now, but he has to drop the threat against Taylor!

At the cliff house, Steffy tells Taylor she and Finn have been spending time talking about Sheila, and then there’s Douglas, the kids, and Finn’s been on-call. Taylor’s sorry. Steffy could strangle Bill for putting them in this position. She doesn’t know how it’s going to work yet, but she will see Sheila Carter behind bars!

At Deacon’s place, Sheila tells him he’s asking for the impossible. Deacon protests — that’s her specialty. It’s the biggest night of his life and he just wants to share it with her.

At Steffy’s, she and Taylor marvel over how much Bill has changed. Steffy doesn’t care why he’s doing this, she just wants it to stop. Taylor grimaces, “What if they really are in love?” Steffy predicts the only thing she’ll bring to Bill’s life is misery. She’s going to find a way to get Sheila out of their lives once and for all. Taylor tells her daughter she shouldn’t take the brunt of this on herself — they all need to pull together right now. A knock comes at the door and Steffy rolls her eyes and sighs as Thomas walks in. Taylor admits, “I did this.” She pleads with them to find the love and fill the void. “Let’s go! Let’s do this!”

At Bill’s place, Liam rants that he has a dangerous criminal living in his house. Bill wants to move on. Wyatt rejoins them and tells his father whatever crazy ideas Sheila Carter has put in his head, they’re wrong. “There is no way you can trust Sheila Carter!”

At Deacon’s place, he and Sheila reminisce about her showing up on his doorstep and laugh over him not knowing it was her until the next day. Sheila asks why he took her in when he was so frightened. Deacon replies, “You know the answer to that.”

At Bill’s place, he informs his sons he doesn’t have to explain his relationship to them or anyone else. Sheila accepts him for who he is. Wyatt screams, “For how long?! And for what purpose?!?” He reiterates that no one can trust Sheila Carter.

At Deacon’s place, he recalls to Sheila everything they shared. There’s something very special about her; perhaps it’s knowing she’s capable of anything. Sheila says Bill tells her the same things, then backtracks to tell Deacon she’s flattered. She reiterates that she can’t attend the grand opening. Deacon gripes, “Because of Spencer.” Sheila replies, “Yes. Because of Bill.”

At the cliff house, Taylor prompts her children to talk it out. Thomas tells Steffy he’s sorry; he went too far trying to help their parents get back together. It’s what he does — gets hyper-focused on things and doesn’t realize how it affects others. He hurts people. It hurts that Douglas got involved and that he’s alienated from his son. It helps to know that because he messed things up, he can fix it. Thomas confesses he’s been seeing a therapist and wants to be a better person, father, brother, and son. He can’t do this on his own and asks Steffy to please give him another chance. Steffy tears up as does Taylor.

At Bill’s place, he assures his sons that Sheila won’t betray him. Wyatt asks, “But if she did, she’d be gone, right?” Liam adds, “Right back to prison?”

At Deacon’s place, he and Sheila laugh about how they liked to play rough. She admits he was her savior when she really needed it but it can’t be that way anymore. Deacon doesn’t want to screw things up for her. He knows if Bill found out about them, he would send her back to prison. He wants her to be safe and happy. Sheila wishes him good luck with the opening. Deacon tells her, “It’s not going to be the same without you.” They embrace and say goodbye.

More: Is Sheila headed for a wedding?!?

At the cliff house, Steffy asks Thomas what makes him think this time is going to be any different. She recaps that what he did was terrible. How is she supposed to believe he’s ready to change? Thomas loves his son, who chose to live with her. If he wants that to change, then he has to change. Steffy tells Thomas she doesn’t want him to suffer and she loves him. He loves her too. She reminds him he’s broken their trust over and over again. “I don’t know how it’s ever going to happen or how long this is going to take, but I lost my sister and I don’t want to lose my brother. You need to do better! You said you want another chance, I’m willing to give it to you now.” Thomas promises she won’t regret it. Taylor interjects, “No promises, Thomas, just keep doing the work.” He will. Taylor recaps that their family has been through so much but they always rise, heal, and overcome. “We always have, and we always will.” She will always believe in them both, always. Together, they as a family are a force to be reckoned with. “No one can ever break this bond. We are the Forresters.” They share a group hug.
