Hope Celebrates With Thomas as Liam Paces the Cabin — and Bill Makes a Play for Brooke

At the Forrester mansion, Thomas pops the bubbly and Zende enthuses about going through every bottle of champagne. Douglas asks for some, so Hope produces some apple cider to fill his glass. Eric, with Donna and Ridge beside him, toasts to Thomas and Hope and their resounding success. “Forrester Creations’ newest dream team! Cheers!” They all toast.

At the cabin, Liam tells Bill that Beth really wanted to see her mom tonight but there’s been no word from Hope. Brooke arrives. She just got back from Forrester and reports that the line was a hit and Hope was absolutely stunning. Brooke was surprised Liam wasn’t there to witness her daughter’s achievement for himself.

At Steffy’s place, she and Finn are in bed with Kelly reading books. Steffy tells her all about the beautiful models and Finn says it sounds like the night was amazing. “Hope and your brother make a really good team.” Steffy promises to take her daughter to the next fashion show and they’ll dance together. Kelly goes off to her own room and Finn and Steffy reflect on the big day for Forrester… and Hope and Thomas. They talk about Kelly’s enthusiasm for the fashion show and her future with the company as they canoodle. Finn wishes he could have been there and is glad the preview went off without a hitch. Steffy muses, “Almost.” She tells Finn that Liam wasn’t there.

At the cabin, Brooke lectures Liam that this was a very big day for her daughter. Bill interjects that he wasn’t there because he couldn’t stand to see Thomas’ slimy hands all over his wife. He rants that Liam’s a better man than him; he would have knocked the guy’s head off his shoulders. Brooke asks Liam, “What is he talking about?” She learns that Thomas and Hope embraced and can’t understand how she’d allow that. Bill explains how he’s been worming his way back into her life. Liam can’t forget the look on his wife’s face when Thomas said there was nothing they couldn’t do together. Bill declares that they need to figure something out — the more time that Thomas spends with Hope and Douglas, the more danger his family is in.

At the Forrester mansion, Thomas and Hope interact with Douglas and across the room, Zende, Ridge and Eric marvel at what a nice little family they make. Donna isn’t sure Liam would agree. On the other side of the living room, Douglas smiles as his dad tells his mom she’s breathtaking.

Zende calls to make a toast and tells Thomas he’s inspired by his talent ant that Hope’s an endless source of inspiration. He’s proud to be part of the team. They assure him he was a big part of the success. Zende agrees with Eric that they may be the next dream team of Forrester Creations. They all toast.

At the cliff house, Steffy tells Finn his hands are magic as he rubs her feet. He muses, “Not just my hands.” She grins. They go back to talking about Liam’s absence. Steffy figures it’s because of Thomas. She then questions why they’re talking about Hope and Liam. They start making out.

At the cabin, Brooke tells Liam it’s not like Hope not to check in — maybe he should head over to Eric’s. Liam can’t stomach seeing another moment between her and Thomas and he doesn’t want to ruin her big night. Bill fumes that’s sweet and all, but Thomas is with his wife while he’s staring at his phone. “You need to do something!”

At the Forrester mansion, Donna compliments Hope and jokes about having to work with Pammy before telling Thomas his designs were pretty incredible. Thomas credits Hope for inspiring him, but Eric urges him to take the compliment. Ridge raves about his son working hard — he should be proud of himself. He thanks Hope for crating Hope For the Future and muses that it’s not just a line; it’s her kindness. She didn’t turn her back on Thomas as so many did. He feels they make a great team, not only at work but as parents. They all toast again and Thomas smiles at Hope.

Pretty sure we know what Thomas’ hope for the future is!

At Brooke’s place, she worries to Bill about leaving Liam alone. Bill feels his son has to think about how he wants to handle the situation without their voices in his ear. Brooke’s worried about their marriage. Bill assures her they’ll work it out; they always do. He questions her not being at Eric’s celebrating with Hope. Brooke says it would be kind of painful seeing Ridge there. She doesn’t know why he left. Bill says it’s what he does and he’s a fool — he would never let her go. Brooke loves Ridge. Bill counters that if she’d let him, he could make her very happy. “We were amazing once, and we could be amazing again.”

At the Forrester mansion, Ridge tells Thomas and Hope he’s heading back to the office. He hugs Hope and goes. Thomas tells the blonde all this is because of her. He did horrible things in the past, but she began to believe in him before he could even believe in himself. Hope always knew he could do it and gushes about the showstopper. Thomas recaps that it was inspired by her — she and her line are beautiful. Hope takes a call from Liam, who tells her how happy he is that the show was a success. He wants to talk, but she informs him she’s celebrating tonight and doesn’t want to get into it. She’ll be tucking Douglas into bed and then celebrating a while longer. Liam guesses correctly that she’s with Thomas and snarks, “Uh huh, told you.” Hope lets him go. Thomas reminds her this is their moment. “Tell me you won’t leave just yet.”
