Fresh off Sheila’s Gory Confession, Deacon Panics When [Spoiler] Shows up at the Door
Friday, August 19, 2022: Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon brands Sheila as crazy, Steffy and Finn revel in their miracle, and Ridge catches Quinn and Carter canoodling.
In his broom closet abode, Deacon recoils and stammers, “It can’t be,” as Sheila reveals herself and purrs, “Momma’s back.” He grimaces, “Sheila,” as she lets out an evil cackle.
At the cliff house, Steffy beams as Finn enters the house shirtless and wet from surfing. They discuss the kids and canoodle. Finn missed his gorgeous talented and sexy wife. They kiss.
At Forrester Creations, Quinn is watching Carter speculatively from across the boardroom table. She wonders if he’s having as much trouble concentrating as she is. He grins, “More.” She decides they should do something about it before it drives them crazy. Carter’s already at the crazy mark. Carter walks over, pulls her out of her chair and they kiss passionately. He’s been wanting to do that all morning. Quinn has been wanting to do “this” all morning. She pulls him into another clinch. Just then, Ridge walks in and grunts, “I could have sworn this was my office.”
At the cliff house, Steffy runs her hands over her husband’s chest and abs and suggests he get out of his wet bathing suit. She goes over the miracle of him being alive and he reiterates that her love kept him alive. They kiss again.
At Forrester, Ridge will never get used to his best friend making out with his ex-stepmother. “Find someone’s backseat, please don’t do this here!” Carter and Quinn pull apart and talk turns to business. Ridge relays that Steffy won’t be in because she’s spending time with Finn today. Just then, Zende walks in freaking out — he just heard about Sheila being killed by a bear. “Is that true?!?”
In Deacon’s room, he tells Sheila he thought she’d been attacked and killed by a bear. Sheila leans back looking smug and self-satisfied and laughs, “The only thing that attacked me was you.”
At the cliffhouse, Steffy leans on Finn’s shoulder as they sit on the couch. Finn wishes he could hold her like this forever and never let her go. She wishes so too… but Kelly and Hayes won’t allow it. Soon, the house will be in kiddie chaos again. Finn tells her this is what matters most and kisses her head. Steffy recaps that having him back and their family together is everything. They have a lifetime of memories ahead of them to make. “You stopped those bullets from Sheila to save me.” Finn holds her close. He’d do it again in a heartbeat. Steffy tells him he’s the most amazing husband, father and doctor. “I will never ever stop thanking God for bringing you back to us. To me.”
At Forrester, Ridge updates Zende, Carter and Quinn about Sheila and her middle toe, which was the conclusive evidence. Ridge wants to show off the picture and everyone groans and cringes when he holds it up. It’s Ridge’s reminder that she’s gone and will never hurt anyone he loves ever again. They go over how Sheila nearly killed her own son and Steffy. Ridge reports they’re now more in love than he’s ever seen them.
In Deacon’s room, Sheila muses that she left him speechless last night. Climbing on his lap she kisses the confused guy, who tells her she’s insane. She replies, “Insanely good between the sheets.” Deacon frowns as she pulls his head against her chest and holds it there. Pulling back, Sheila asks what’s wrong — she’s not used to Deacon being speechless. Deacon thought she was dead. She proved over and over and over again last night that she’s anything but. Yanking him toward the bed, Sheila wants to go for another round, but Deacon tells her to stop. He asks, “How did you do it? How did you convince everyone you’re dead?” Sheila did what she had to in order to make it look like a bear really did maul her. She knew Ridge and the Forresters would need more so she gave it to them. “This little piggy had to go bye-bye.” Deacon, flummoxed, gawps, “You cut off your own toe.” He looks ill.
At the cliff house, Steffy doesn’t want to talk about that awful night or Sheila anymore. Finn assures her they’ll raise their beautiful family, make amazing memories and grow old together. “More and more in love each day for the rest of our days.” Steffy recaps, “Sheila is never going to hurt us again. Never.”
At Forrester, Quinn says she knows what it’s like to feel more in love than ever. Ridge wonders if that’s a dig at his dad. She loves his dad, but what she and Carter have is special and she’s not hiding it ever again. Carter changes the subject back to Steffy’s miracle. He’s happy Sheila will not terrorize them, or anyone, ever again. Ridge grins, “Ding dong, Sheila is dead.”
In Deacon’s room, Sheila admits removing her toe was the most physical pain she ever experienced but it was the only way. They would have hunted her down and she can’t live that way. Deacon declares she’s crazy, but she argues she can’t live behind bars like a caged animal. Deacon can’t believe she’s here and that he slept with her. Sheila wants him to admit he had the time of his life. Deacon grits, “Why did you come here? You know I’m on parole!” Sheila reminds him they all think she’s dead. “There is no one that understands me as you do.” Just then, Deacon’s parole officer knocks on the door and calls out for him to open up. Sheila pleads, “Don’t give my up please.” The parole officer hollers, “Open up now!”
Next on The Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke confronts Taylor about the kiss with Ridge, and the arrival of Deacon’s parole officer sends him and Sheila into a panic!
