More: Still time ‘save’ the Finn story
In the hospital corridor, Thomas explains to Ridge that Taylor was concerned about Sheila when she ran off and went after her. Hope and Liam join them. Thomas decides to go in and spend time with Steffy.
In Steffy’s room, Bridget updates Thomas that there hasn’t been any change. She urges him to tell his sister to fight and let her know how much she means to all of them. Thomas talks to Steffy and reminds her there is only so much Bridget can do with these machines. She has to fight… she has to pull through. Thomas questions if she can hear what they’re saying to her and repeats, “You need to wake up.” He wishes she’d wake up and make fun of him for getting emotional. “What I wouldn’t give for that,” he sighs as he kisses her hand.
In the hallway, Ridge looks for Bridget and tells Hope and Liam this is beyond frustrating. Liam wants Steffy to wake up so they can ask her what happened. Bridget appears and informs Ridge it’s just a waiting game at this point. Hugging Ridge she adds, “Just pray she wakes up soon.”
More: B&B missed the mark with Finn’s death
On the roof, Taylor tells Sheila not to jump — she knows she’s hurting. Sheila says Finn is gone and it’s all her fault! Taylor asks how any of this is her fault and urges her not to blame herself for this.
In Steffy’s room, Thomas wants to see that fighter in her. She’s all he’s got since Phoebe left and so many people need her. He cries, “Kelly and Hayes… they need you, Stef. They need their mom.” He asks, “Do you know? Did you see it? Do you know Finn’s gone?” He sobs, “God, I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry, Steffy.” He vows they’ll find the person who did this and make them pay.
On the roof, Sheila tells Taylor if she had just stayed out of Finn’s life… Taylor argues that wouldn’t have prevented a robbery. Sheila keeps repeating that he’s gone, her son is gone. Taylor says she doesn’t have to be and asks her to step down from the ledge and talk. Sheila doesn’t want to talk. She sobs that she has nothing left; her son is gone! She wanted to show him she was becoming a better person, but it didn’t do any good. She cries, “My son is dead. My son is dead… I want to be too.”
Outside Steffy’s room, Thomas tells Hope, Liam and Ridge that she’s the same. Hope asks to go in. Thomas warns it’s not easy seeing Steffy like that. Hope goes in. Liam tells Thomas and Ridge, “I don’t know how to do this. I don’t know how we would live life without her.”
More: New romance for Steffy?
In the hospital room, Hope can’t believe this is happening to Steffy and that she’s having to go through this. She assures there are so many people in her corner that love her. Hope doesn’t understand how someone could take a gun… how they could be so cruel. “How could they do this to you?” Hope knows things have been strained between them lately, but when she wakes up she doesn’t want that anymore. The kids have brought them together; that bond that they all share now. She knows that if anything happened to her, Steffy would take care of Beth. “We’re going to be here for you. To fill that void when you wake up.” Hope reflects on their relationship and what they shared together and only thinks about the remarkable ones — and there’s so many more to make. “I have always admired your strength and your courage and your tenacity.” She needs her to draw on that now and to fight to stay here for your children. “We can’t lose you. We can’t.”

On the roof, Taylor assures Sheila that she still has her new beginning. Her son is gone and that will be difficult, but she still has Hayes. Her grandson. “Our grandson.” She assures Sheila that Steffy will wake up. Sheila appears to get hopeful but when Taylor asks her to take her hand, Sheila says that everything she had to live for died with her son. “I have nothing but pain and regret and guilt.” She knows how this has to end. “There’s only one way.” Taylor looks panicky.
