Betty White’s sitcom has been picked up and is scheduled to air this summer on TV Land.

The ever busy Betty White (ex-Ann, B&B) has just landed a TV pilot.

Starring alongside Valerie Bertinelli (“One Day at a Time,” “Touched by an Angel”), Jane Leeves (“Frasier”) and Wendie Malick (“Just Shoot Me”), White will appear in the pilot “Hot in Cleveland” about three fortysomething friends from Los Angeles, who decide to live in Cleveland after being perceived as glamorous by the locals.

White plays an outspoken lady who has lived in the women’s Cleveland house for 50 years.

The pilot is being shot for TV Land by Sean Hayes’ (“Will and Grace”) Hazy Mills Production company. It is also written by Suzanne Martin of “Frazier.”
