With Steffy Forrester and Liam Spencer’s wedding airing today, it’s the perfect time to highlight actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who has been playing one third of the long running Hope/Liam/Steffy triangle for 12 years. Soaps.com takes a look at the actress’ life on and offscreen.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She was cast in a commercial as a teen and later moved to Toronto to take acting classes.
In 2008, at the age of 21, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood was cast in the role of Steffy Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood starred in the 2010 TV movie Turn the Beat Around and the 2011 feature film Final Destination 5.
Wood’s other TV projects include guest-starring roles in the TV shows Arrow, Anger Management, Arrow and Castle. In 2015, she played a central character in Hulu’s single season series South Beach which also starred Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales, The Young and the Restless).
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood has also been a DJ and a singer, filming a video for her single After Hours, under the name Jacqui Mac. In addition, she was the host of the E! network TV show Party On that traveled around the world for a peek “behind the velvet ropes” of the best party scenes.
In 2013, Wood graced the cover of Maxim’s Mini-Calendar, where she was featured also for the month of January.
Wood was nominated for two Daytime Emmys in the Outstanding Younger Actress category and once in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category. In 2019, she won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is a fitness enthusiast as evidenced by photos on her Instagram account which include her boxing, weight training, practicing yoga, skateboarding, and riding motor bikes.
Wood eloped with boyfriend Elan Ruspoli, who she met through friends, in 2018. Their son, Rise Harlen, was born in 2019.
