Even though Daniel McVicar (Clarke, B&B) will be spending Thanksgiving in Italy, which he considers his second home, it doesn’t mean he won’t be honoring the American holiday.

Along with his fiancée Dr. Virginia De Agostini, Daniel has created Thanks Dinner, which will benefit the Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in Turin, Italy. His Thanksgiving Benefit Dinner will be held at Eataly on November 26 with the proceeds going to the charity that assists locals with meals, health services and other guidance. A large portion of the evening’s proceeds will be used to benefit the 800 meals a day that are prepared for the less fortunate.

The evening’s meal will be prepared by Marc Lanteri of the new restaurant “Il Baluardo” di Mondovi’. A top level chef, Lanteri has received the honor of a Michelin star at his previous restaurant.
