Look Inside Darin Brooks & Kelly Kruger’s Nursery for Everleigh Jolie Filled With Personal Touches

Married actors Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer, Bold and Beautiful, Max Brady, Days of our Lives) and Kelly Kruger (Mackenzie Browning, Young and Restless, Eva the publicist, Bold and Beautiful) gave CBS Watch Magazine a nursery tour for a special feature. Brooks and Kruger welcomed Everleigh Jolie, their first child, near the end of September 2019 after a year of trying to conceive. Everleigh’s beautiful nursery is light and bright and is finished with some very special personal touches that warm the heart such as framed photos and a personalized hand-painted mural containing the baby’s name with a Parisian theme. Paris was the first trip the couple took together in 2010, and as many Soaps.com readers may remember, the couple filmed Bold and Beautiful location scenes there together in 2014. Brooks also proposed to Kruger there while taking time out from a shoot in Monte Carlo.

Brooks explained that his mother painted the special mural for her granddaughter, and said, “It was something really nice for her to do and it says ‘tutu’ in the bottom corner, which is ‘grandma’ in Hawaiian.” The actor’s parents live in Hawaii. The baby’s room also features wooden hearts in a frame containing well wishes from loved ones, along with family photos framed by Brooks. The actor remarked, “There is something about being able to show these photos to your child as opposed to just storing them on your phone.” Kruger revealed that the nursery was formerly her office space. The crib, changing table, and mobile, which plays Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, came from Pottery Barn Kids.

The happy parents also shared that Everleigh Jolie sleeps through the night, with Kruger adding, “The biggest surprise for me is how OK I am now with being in bed in the afternoon, just hanging out with her. This is the best thing I’ve ever done.”
