Bold and Beautiful’s Bridget Forrester’s history of marriages, tragedies, and rivalries.

With fan-favorite Ashley Jones returning as Bridget Forrester on Bold and the Beautiful, decided to look back at the history of the character and some of the wild and at times wacky plots she’s been involved in.

Bridget Forrester was born on December 31, 1992 at the Forrester Big Bear cabin. She is the daughter and second child of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric Forrester (John McCook). At the time of her conception, Brooke believed Bridget was Ridge’s (Ronn Moss) child thanks to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown Pelzer) tampering with paternity tests. The truth was revealed years later.

As a baby, Bridget was shot while in the park with her babysitter in a drive-by shooting incident.

As a toddler, Bridget was sent to live with Eric and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), and Stephanie tried to gain custody of Bridget.

Four actresses have played Bridget Forrester from teen to adult. Agnes Bruckner played her as a rebellious teenager from 1997 until 2000. Jennifer Finnigan played her from 2000 until 2004. Emily Harrison briefly took over the role in 2004. Ashley Jones has portrayed the character the longest from 2004 until the present.

Kirsten Storms, Belle Brady on Days of our Lives and Maxie Jones on General Hospital, once auditioned for the role in 1999.

Bridget Forrester is a doctor of medicine. She was also a fashion designer for Jackie M Designs and initially designed under the name Madame X. She’s also worked as a model for Amber Moore’s (Adrienne Frantz) Ambrosia line and as a waitress at Insomnia Coffee House while in medical school.

As a teen, Bridget once ran away from home and was mugged on the streets of Los Angeles, schemed to break up her brother Rick’s (Jacob Young) marriage to Amber, and opposed her mother’s relationship with Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon).

At the age of 18, Bridget Forrester eloped with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) in Las Vegas in 2001. Deacon only married her to get revenge against the Forresters, but eventually developed feelings for her.

While married to Deacon, Deacon and Bridget’s mother Brooke had an affair and Brooke became pregnant and gave birth to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Bridget and Stephanie helped deliver the baby at Big Bear cabin.

Bridget Forrester discovered that Ridge was not Eric’s child, but the son of Stephanie’s long-time friend Massimo Marone (Joseph Mascolo) and kept it a secret.

Bridget was briefly engaged to Oscar Marone (Brian Gaskill).

In 2005 during a ski trip, Bridget fell into a mine shaft and almost froze to death. Ridge got trapped with her while trying to rescue her, and they shared a kiss. They were both rescued by Ridge’s brother Nick Marone (Jack Wagner).

Nick became the major love of Bridget’s life. She tried to marry Nick three times, all resulting in the weddings being interrupted, the first when Ridge’s supposedly dead wife Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) returned. While they were together, Nick had affairs with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Brooke.

Bridget and Nick finally married in their fourth wedding attempt in 2005, and she became pregnant, but their marriage fell apart when their daughter Nicole was stillborn after she fell from a chair while decorating the child’s nursery.

Bridget developed feelings for Dante Damiano (Antonio Sabàto, Jr.), and he eventually proposed to her, but also proposed to Felicia Forrester (Lesli Kay), leading to a rivalry between the two. Bridget sustained a severe sunburn after Felicia switched her sunscreen with baby oil as part of their feud.

Bridget tragically suffered a miscarriage in 2006 after becoming pregnant by Dante Damiano (Antonio Sabàto, Jr.).

When Nick became involved with Taylor, Bridget helped the couple get pregnant through in vitro fertilization, but accidentally implanted Taylor with Brooke’s donated egg, resulting in Nick and Brooke’s son Jack Marone.

Bridget Forrester and Nick took in a dying Katie Logan, who began to reject her brother Storm Logan’s (Brian Patrick Clarke) heart after a transplant. Fortunately, Bridget found an experimental treatment that saved Katie Logan’s life.

A second marriage to Nick in 2008 ended when his one-night stand with Katie, a dying wish of hers, resulted in her becoming pregnant.

A third, and final marriage to Nick in 2009 resulted in the couple attempting to have a daughter via a surrogate, Aggie Jones (Sarah Joy Brown). However, she miscarried after falling down a flight of stairs while arguing with Bridget over Aggie having developed feelings for Nick.

During their final marriage, Bridget cheated on Nick with his step-father Owen Knight (Brandon Beemer), who was married to Nick’s mother Jackie Marone (Lesley-Anne Down). Aggie exposed the affair, leading to Nick and Bridget’s divorce.

Bridget Forrester and Owen’s one-night-stand resulted in a pregnancy. At the Big Bear cabin, Bridget gave birth to her son, Logan Forrester Knight. Bridget and Owen tried to make a relationship work, but they realized they weren’t meant to be and he returned to Jackie.

Bridget left Los Angeles in 2010 and moved to New York, living next door to Owen and Jackie.
