Interview: B&B’s Ashley Tesoro’s Romantic Milestone & Life Treasures

Catching up with former Bold and Beautiful actress on marriage, family and helping others.
Soaps.com last chatted with Bold and the Beautiful alum Ashley Tesoro back in April 2014. The former soap opera actress known to daytime viewers for playing Kimberly Fairchild from 1998 to 2001, recently touched base with us on what’s been happening in her life since. We alerted fans this past February that Tesoro gave birth to her third child, Valentina Ashley Tesoro, on Valentine’s Day. Of her children, Tesoro expressed, “I’m so thrilled to be a mother of 3 now!” Little Valentina, 8 months old, is the baby sister to brother Anthony John, who is 3, and sister Gabriella Lyn, who is 5. “Anthony and I recently had the privilege of doing a dedication ceremony and ministry event in San Diego CA for our newest addition Valentina. Anthony spoke and I sang at the service. We’ve done the dedication ceremonies for all 3 of our children over the years and it’s been such a blessing.”

Tesoro also spoke of a special romantic celebration – the 18th wedding anniversary for her and husband Anthony Tesoro. On September 30 the couple posted several intimate photos on social media to mark their milestone, and Tesoro shared a few with Soaps.com. “I literally cannot believe I’ve been married half my life! I met Anthony at his Bible Study when I was 18 years old and I married him 8 months later. We’ve been together ever since.” When asked how the couple keeps the spark alive after all of those years, Tesoro revealed, “For us friendship, romance, and faith are the key. I believe a great marriage is rooted in friendship, grounded in romance, and surrounded by a supernatural presence that binds your hearts. You can’t forget to surprise each other, be kind, and spontaneous. Go on a date! Have fun! Don’t sweat the small stuff. Every day is a gift.”
Aside from being a mother, Tesoro, with a degree in psychology and communications, and Anthony run a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, the Tesoro Ministry Foundation and co-host the family’s web series Life is for Living TV, featuring 65 webisodes to date. “This principal of faith and higher thinking is actually what drew my heart away from the Hollywood industry 18 years ago. Although I love the arts and am so blessed by what I accomplished in Hollywood; at that time I really wanted to take a step back, be a wife, a mother; find myself on a deeper level and really discover my true calling in life.” Tesoro and her husband counsel individuals and families in need of healing, direction and inspiration. The former actress is also a gospel and country singer and uses her voice to impact others, as well as models, along with her kids, for a few clothing designers and store owners. “For me family is what’s most important; using my life to help other people and having a lot of fun while doing it! Life can be difficult at times. No one is immune to difficulties. My motto is; ‘take life one day at a time. Live in the moment. Breathe it in. It goes by fast. Use the good times to give you strength for the hard times in life. Learn everything you can through both good and bad and thank God for every day you’ve been given’.”
