Bold and Beautiful actor’s chilling upcoming movie.

Updated January 7, 2020: Soaps.com has the release date for Bold and the Beautiful actor Matthew Atkinson’s (Thomas Forrester) upcoming Lifetime movie Psycho Party Planner, previously titled The Party Planner. Be sure to tune in Sunday January 12 at 8:00 PM on Lifetime.

Back on June 12, 2019 we reported that actor Matthew Atkinson, who has done a good job of making his Bold and Beautiful character, Thomas Forrester, seem scary at times, has a role in an upcoming thriller film entitled The Party Planner. Soaps.com has details on the movie, which was produced by Ninth House Films, a company that has made several Lifetime thrillers, including the recent Psycho Stripper, which starred Tyler Johnson, currently appearing on Young and Restless as Theo Vanderway.

Atkinson will play the role of Griff Shores in The Party Planner, which surrounds the story of a young mother and art gallery owner, Kayla Anderson, who hires a party planner to help organize her daughter Kerry’s Sweet Sixteen celebration. Enter Lindsay Shores, who seems like the perfect planner, but unbeknownst to Kayla, is actually a murderer who killed her husband and whose only plans are to make Kerry her own daughter.

Lindsey McKeon, known to daytime audiences for playing Guiding Light’s Marah Lewis, and who also did stints on One Tree Hill and Supernatural, stars as Kayla. Actress Katrina Begin (The Agency, Boomtown) appears as Lindsay and Cathryn Dylan (Grey’s Anatomy, Ray Donovan), plays Kerry. Other cast members include Jud Tylor, who played Samantha Hyde on That 70s Show, Chasty Ballesteros, who appeared on Days of our Lives as Dana and Young and Restless as India, and Marco Dapper, who played Young and Restless’ Carmine Basco, as Jason Anderson. Dapper was featured in a couple of photos from The Party Planner set shared on Instagram.

That tattoo I’m rocking on my right elbow there (we call it mah Tim Burton tattoo;) says 121. I get asked ab this tattoo more than any other. It’s a lucky day I say, something always happens on 1/21 (cept that one year I was sick living in Berlin and nothing happened cept me stuck in bed freezing and wishing something would 🤣). I got both Riley and Piper on January 21st on two totally different years. I sold my first script Bloody Homecoming on this day. I fell for a boy once on this day. This year, it just so happens I started my 30th feature on this day. How blessed I must be to have such a wonderful group of people I can call my friends and film family. I’m so grateful for all of you and so excited about another year I get to onset with all you goons. And this gorgeous cast (most of whom I love and have worked with before!!) ain’t half bad either. :):):) Excited to share our latest thriller with all of you soon! And happy lucky day to those of you who have been and become a part of my 1/21 annual saga. 🙂 @ninthhousefilms @autumnfederici @stephinvenice @mylindseymckeon @katrinabegin @cathryndylan @dapperguy @chastyballesteros @judtylor @grant_merritt @jlarsl @mika.makeupdept @nicbinnall @mfaner @abigailbradley @daniyorah @markilvedson 1/21 #january21stftw #thepartyplanner #psychopartyplanner #thrillsnchills #ninthhousefilms
