Updated November 5: Soaps.com wanted to alert readers to a change in Jacob Young’s (Rick) new project, previously called Daytime After Dark. The B&B actor shared a message on Instagram explaining the title change of his show and teased more news to come. “Hey everyone, I’m excited to let you know I’m changing the title of my show to ‘The Jacob Young Show’ because there is a VERY BIG announcement coming soon that’s connected with the name change!! On August 28, we reported following Jacob Young’s switch to recurring status as Rick Forrester on The Bold and Beautiful, the talented actor/singer has wasted no time in pursuing other ventures. Soaps.com is excited to share that his latest project is a new series for YouTube entitled Daytime After Dark. Young has promoted the talk show on his Twitter account, as he strives to net 5000 subscribers prior to the October 1 debut of the series. He asked for retweets, and added, “Everyone’s support never ceases to amaze me! I love you! So we can have a proper launch on Oct. 1, I’m asking you and your friends to help me get 5000 subscribers.” In another post, the actor clarified the premise of the show and stated, “Im getting a lot of questions about what my shows format will be. Ill be discussing entertainment as a whole, music film and tv. ? free form, no subject is off limits. I will be interviewing my friends in the industry from film and tv, what it takes to make it!”

Daytime After Dark will air live each week, will be free to subscribers, and will feature content surrounding soaps and the acting industry, in which the Daytime Emmy award winner has years of experience. Young recently filmed Deadly Desert Vacation, and is currently working on another movie, Faithfully. In addition to his film ventures, Young began his daytime journey playing Lucky Spencer on General Hospital in 2001, and went on to JR Chandler on both All My Children and One Life to Live. He even did a short stint as Kinsey on Days of our Lives before moving on to play B&B’s Rick, who also crossed over to The Young and the Restless.
