Ronn Moss Reacts to Lawsuit Settlement With Former Player Bandmate

B&B alum Ronn Moss to take legal action.
Updated December 24: Soaps.com has learned that Bold and the Beautiful alum Ronn Moss (ex-Ridge) has settled his lawsuit against a former Player bandmate. The actor took to Twitter to announce, “I am happy that the trademark battle for #PLAYER has been settled. A press release is coming soon and I will form my own band to tour in the states as Ronn Moss’PLAYER which will include John Walsh aka #JawnStar and Jimmy Carnelli with a couple added surprises coming for 2019.”
Back on February 16, we reported… Before Ronn Moss romanced Brooke Logan for decades as Ridge Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, he was a member of the band Player. Actually, Moss remained a member of the band, whose most famous hit was 1977’s Baby Come Back, until recently. On February 11, Moss tweeted, that he had not left Player, he was lied to by his bandmate and Player co-founder Peter Beckett and he would be taking legal action. The president of the DevRonn fanclub (Dev being Moss’ wife Devin Devasquez) posted on Facebook that Moss was pushed out of the band by Beckett and replaced by a new bass player.

Moss’ wife Devasquez passionately chimed in on the post replying to a fan’s well wishes, “Thanks Ronn is doing just fine without Player but he will not stand for this kind of injustice after giving the past 22 years to this band with this asshole.”
Peter Beckett does not appear to have commented on the situation. However, in an interview with Beckett about upcoming tour dates in September 2017, Central Jersey reported, “Moss, who also starred in the daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 1987 through 2012, is on leave from the band doing a theatrical play based on the soap opera and is scheduled to return to the group at the end of October.”
Since leaving B&B in 2012, Moss has made various musical appearances, starred in several series including the Belgium soap Familie, Bruna in Beverly Hills and The Bay. He was also in a Belgium theater production which translates to The Rich and Famous.
