Soap actress has been laid up for weeks.

After recently reporting that Y&R’s Eileen Davidson suffered an injury in Florida, Soaps.com has discovered that Rena Sofer, who plays Quinn Fuller Forrester on CBS sister soap, “The Bold and the Beautiful” has been laid up with an injury as well. Sofer initially shared a photo on Instagram of her icing her foot after playing tennis with the caption, “So this happened…best tennis of my life so far. Damn that high ball!” Today, Sofer revisited the injury on her account, this time revealing that it wasn’t just a sprain or twist as it appeared, but in fact, she’s been recovering from a broken ankle. The photo, in which she is hugging two of her dogs, stated, “These two have literally saved my life these last two weeks. I’ve been laid up with a broken ankle and they never left my side.” So sweet!

As Sofer is currently in a front-burner storyline on “B&B,” with Sheila employing Mateo and his magic hands to seduce Quinn and break up her marriage to Eric (John McCook), there’s every chance we may see the actress limping onscreen. This could be explained in a number of ways. Perhaps Quinn will go another round catfighting with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), take a fall off of Mateo’s (Francisco San Martin) massage table when he tries to kiss her, or maybe she will hurt her foot while kicking Katie’s (Heather Tom) butt when she discovers she’s been having sex with her son, Wyatt (Darin Brooks). One thing we know for sure, if Quinn does suffer an ankle injury onscreen, her former flame, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will know how to fix it. Who could forget the sexually-charged foot massage he gave her in the Forrester Creations design studio at the beginning of their love/hate flirtation?

Ouchie!!! ?
