On November 5, news broke that actress Kim Matula opted not to renew her B&B contract and would be vacating the role of Hope Logan. Soon after, Soaps.com readers learned that Matula’s last airdate would be December 12, and that “The Bold and the Beautiful” headwriter and executive producer Brad Bell intended to recast the role of Hope at some point.
