In this week’s “The Bold and the Beautiful” Throwback Thursday Soaps.com takes readers back to 1987 when Clarke Garrison finally weaseled his way into Forrester Creations…
Caroline has become a confidant for Ridge, one who is helping him with his inability to design at work. Years ago, Clarke used a member of Ridge’s family in order to land a job as a designer at Forrester. Clarke did whatever it took to get ahead in the fashion world. Stephanie Forrester believed her daughter Kristen needed a male figure in her life, other than Eric, and hired Clarke to romance her. When Kristen wasn’t receptive to Clarke, he tried charming Stephanie to get his foot in the door at Forrester. That didn’t work out either.
However, it wasn’t long before Kristen came around and began a relationship with Clarke. Kristen had faith in Clarke’s work and submitted some of his designs to Eric, claiming they were her own. Eric was impressed with his daughter’s work until he found out the designs were Clarke’s and was forced to hire him at Forrester.
Do you remember why Eric was forced to hire Clarke? Vote in Soaps.com’s “B&B” poll.
