Donna Logan: The Beginning.

In “The Bold And The Beautiful” history, March 1987, Donna Logan first appeared on the scene…

These days Donna is envious of the connection between Eric and Taylor, but she’s come a long way since her younger years (then played by Carrie Mitchum). Back in the day and living in Sherman Oaks, California, Donna set her younger sister Katie up with her friend Rocco Carner. Mark Mallory, Donna’s live-in boyfriend, had always been jealous of their friendship, especially since Donna and Rocco worked together at Griffey’s Diner.

Rocco developed deep feelings for Donna and couldn’t stand how poorly Mark treated her. Donna gave in one night and accepted Rocco’s kiss – one Katie witnessed. Donna felt guilty for hurting her sister but wanted to get away from her abusive relationship with Mark. Things went downhill when Donna had a pregnancy scare and found Mark in bed with another woman. This made it easy for Donna to end the relationship.

Donna left waitressing behind and landed a modeling gig with Tommy Bayland’s agency, who teased Donna into making more money by showing off her goods in lingerie. Rocco found out this was a prostitution assignment and rescued Donna. Nevertheless, Donna needed the money and upon dating Nick Preston agreed to pose nude as ‘Savannah’ in the magazine he worked for on the condition the photos would only be released in Europe. However, Spencer Publications owned the magazine. When Bill Spencer, Sr., who took a liking to ‘Savannah’, released the photos in the US market, Donna vowed revenge…

She infiltrated herself into Spencer Publications as an intern named ‘Jamie Kensington’, to which Donna had a plan, with Nick and Rocca’s help, to take and submit a nude photo of Bill Sr. into a beefcake magazine. Things quickly changed when Bill Sr. recognized ‘Jamie’ as ‘Savannah’ and gave Donna a legit writing position. Nick and Rocco published the nude photo anyway, leaving Donna to confess her part in it to Bill Sr. – and leave Spencer for good.
