The Bold and the Beautiful Honored in Monaco
The Bold and the Beautiful was honored at the 48th Annual Monte Carlo Television Festival in Monaco on June 12th. Jennifer Gareis (Donna) and Kyle Lowder (Rick) accepted the prestigious Golden Nymph Award on behalf of the show, which was given the International TV Audience Award for the highest ranked International Telenovela/Soap Opera.
The Monte-Carlo Television Festival was established in 1961 by Prince Rainier III of Monaco, who wished to recognize television as a means of bringing cultures together while enhancing their respective knowledge. The festival gained immediate interest where many notable celebrities have sat on the juries over the years, thereby bringing international recognition to the best of television. H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco has been the President of the festival since 1988.
