The Bold And The Beautiful Weekly Blog!
Nice moment. (Soaps.com)
Week of July 4 – 8:
Well, the jig is finally up for Stephanie and Thomas – and not a moment too soon! Check out my thoughts on the week:
I enjoyed the honest scenes between Ridge and Eric at the beginning of the week. It was refreshing that Eric was straight up with Ridge. Good material.
One of the best things to come out of the current storyline has been the opportunity for viewers to see what Dayzee is all about. She was fierce in her scenes – holding her own against Stephanie with no problem. I look forward to seeing a lot more of this character.
It’s my pity party…
Thank goodness Stephanie came clean, because I didn’t think I could take another scene of Brooke melodramatically kicking herself when she was down. Especially with her loved ones having to prop her up by assuring her that sleeping with her stepson wasn’t really so bad!
Not just guests, please.
Now that we’ve had a taste of these core characters again, I say keep Felicia and Thorne front-burner! Viewers get so tired of seeing the same main players go around in circles.
I vow to not be so dumb.
Seriously, how could you not roll your eyes at Ridge and Taylor's wedding vows. He talked about Brooke's betrayal and didn't even tell Taylor he loved her, and Taylor yammered on and on about how great his mother is! Ack!
I have something to say.
I was pleasantly taken by surprise that it was Stephanie who caved in to her guilty feelings and stopped the ceremony. How hilarious was it when she confessed and then tried to move things along as though it was no big deal! So Stephanie!
Welcome back, Taylor.
Taylor actually seemed like her old self after the big revelation. It was like she came down into reality for the first time in a very long while. I was glad that she let loose on both Stephanie and Thomas, and that she acknowledged Ridge's feelings for Brooke - I've been embarrassed for her playing second fiddle since all Ridge has done throughout the wedding planning is pine for Brooke.
Baby come back.
I haven't loved this storyline, but I liked the way they did the moment when the rose petals started appearing in the fountain and Brooke looked up to see Ridge standing there. It left me wondering, however, about this whole convoluted storyline being devised simply to break up Ridge and Brooke so they could make up again. I really would like to see something different on the show after this.
