Former The Bold and the Beautiful star, Antonio Sabato Jr. (Dante) is set to appear on a new series on NBC called “Celebrity Circus”! In the aftermath of “Secret Talents of the Stars”, which was cancelled after one episode by CBS, some are wondering if the big top magic will be enough to make this series a success. ABC had originally sponsored the circus-themed show, but due to casting issues decided to pass. NBC has snapped it up and has just announced their casting choices!

Joey Fatone (N’Sync) will be the Master of Ceremonies/Ringmaster of the show, which, according to NBC will follow the entire journey from the star’s first terrifying climb up the high wire ladder to the last nerve-wracking rehearsal. Then the celebrities will put it all on the line, performing in the studio “big top” in front of a live audience. As is typical for these type of programs, viewer votes will ultimately determine who will be the winner of “Celebrity Circus.” NBC is standing behind the concept of the show, saying it will wow viewers with stunning visuals, dramatic stories, and breathtaking stunts. “Celebrity Circus” will bring the incredible world of the Big Top into America’s living rooms.

In addition to B&B’s Antonio Sabato Jr., other celebrity performers include, Christopher Knight (The Brady Bunch, Surreal Life, My Fair Brady), Rachel Hunter (Dancing With the Stars), Blu Cantrell (a singer), Janet Evans (Olympic swimmer) and Jason “Wee Man” Acuna (Jackass)!

Since leaving The Bold and the Beautiful, Antonio has kept busy doing “Destination: Infestation”, and “Ghost Voyagers” for television, and has also done the film “Mysterious”. Antonio will be filming “Gardel: 2008” in the coming year as well!

Soaps.com will be tuning in to “Celebrity Circus.” B&B viewers get ready to vote! The show is set to air beginning June 11th! Good luck Antonio!!
