“B&B” Breakdown
Week of May 23 – 27:

This week “B&B” revolved solely around a single storyline, so here are my thoughts on it, and a poll as well:

A hole in her heart.
I’m having a hard time getting excited about the possibility of a millionth go ’round of the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle. The biggest problem this week was the whole premise of Stephanie, who had undergone a spiritual awakening as a result of battling cancer, suddenly and inexplicably reverting to her old ways – using her grandson to destroy Brooke, who helped her through the worst parts of her illness? Huh? Worse, it’s all supposed to be for Taylor, who hasn’t even been close with Stephanie lately. It doesn’t make a bit of sense to me. Also, Thomas practically worships Brooke, so why would he even entertain the idea of ruining her life and hurting his father? Are we supposed to believe he values Taylor’s happiness more than Ridge’s? So confusing. That said, Thomas’s ‘confession’ was an interesting scene to watch, as were his guilt-wracked scenes with Stephanie after. One other thing – I’m not looking forward to more hysteria from Taylor when she hears about what supposedly happened between her son and Brooke. What do you think of Stephanie’s plot?
