The Bold And The Beautiful Weekly Blog!
Why the fuss? (Soaps.com)
Week of December 6 – 10:
Well, it’s been another so-so week on The Bold and the Beautiful, and it’s time to vent! Here are my thoughts on the storylines this week:
Big ol’ slap!
While Taylor’s faux-pas in the bedroom was good for a belly laugh, her behavior afterward was all downhill. How awful that she added insult to injury by sharing the bedroom incident with Ridge! Even worse was watching her blubber and beg for Whip to forgive her on Friday – I wanted to give her a big ol’ slap and pull her psychiatrist license. How can someone this messed up be allowed to advise others on how to live their lives? Suffice it to say that this week did nothing to improve my outlook on the way Taylor is being written – she’s almost become cartoonish.
Whip it good.
I was disappointed to see Whip sign on for more of the doormat treatment from Taylor. His anger and confrontational manner were appropriate, but I would have relished seeing him kick Taylor to the curb – at least for a while before forgiving her. What do you think Whip should do in this situation? Tell us by voting in Soaps.com’s The Bold and the Beautiful Snap Poll: Whip’s Next Move.
Father knows best.
To me, it seemed like Big Bill was coming across like a big cliche this week. His speech to try and sell Liam on playing the field sounded pretty cheesy at times – at least it gave me a giggle. Also, as I mentioned last week, I can’t understand why he’s so invested in Liam’s love life anyway!
I'm so over this triangle being featured every day of the week. It's three teenagers - not compelling enough to be the main storyline of the show.
Trust me Thomas.
There is obviously a big set-up happening for something else to go down between Thomas and Brooke, but I think the whole thing is just silly. Everyone will play another round of Pin-the-Blame-on-Brooke - it's predictable. Here's hoping they have a twist up their sleeves for this one.
Missing in action.
While we got to see a glimpse of Nick, Jackie, Owen, and oddly-domestic Aggie this week, I would like to see more of Stephanie, Eric, Thorne, Rick, Donna, Stephen, Pam, Steffy, etc.
