Bold & Beautiful Boss Reveals the Show’s Next Big Hire

What’s Bold & Beautiful without love and romance, right? So executive producer/headwriter Bradley Bell is following up his hiring of Joshua Hoffman as Ridge “But First, Let Me Take a Selfie” Jr. with the casting of a young woman, presumably to be his love interest. (We thought that he might be paired with Paris, but let’s be real, she’s been stuck so far on the backburner, it’s a wonder that she hasn’t fallen off the stove!)
Evaluating the state of the show for Michael Fairman TV, Bell said, “I feel like we are in a good spot right now. I think the cast is excellent. We have a right mix of love and romance, and then Sheila brings action and adventure.
“However, this summer, we are going to be introducing the next gen. We started with RJ,” he added. “The show began in 1987, and now we have the next Ridge Forrester that can take us to the next 9,000 episodes.”

“Love interest?” exclaimed Ridge Jr. “You bet my abs I’m ready.”

Soon, the soap will also have its next Brooke Logan or Taylor Hayes. “Yes,” we are casting an ingenue, Bell said, and “building out our twentysomething part of the cast.”
Ah, but who could play the newcomer? That is the question. Where is the show going to find a new Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), Courtney Hope (ex-Sally) or Annika Noelle (Hope)?
While we wait to find out, catch up on all the latest Bold & Beautiful cast changes in our newly updated photo gallery.
